Surprised, and a little disappointed, TBH. We should expect to beat those guys at home going forward.

Yea, I appreciate the enthusiasm but the tearing down the goal posts should be over. Quite frankly, so should rushing the field.

Although tiglet fans.come on to the field after every win and they never get penalized.

I would be okay with a field storming if they beat UGA next year, but that's about it. Saban's gone, and bama isn't all that anymore.

"Act like you've been there before"

Because...you know.  We have.

But I guess some of the students will have some nice memories.

Oh, let them have their fun.  All that pent up frustration from the first half boiled over.  Who cares how it looked.  YOLO!

I'm now hearing that the field storming was actually started by the visiting recruits. If that's true, I'll allow it.

It was
The students didn't start it
It started in the North endzone, where the recruits sit

https://x.com/tennalum/status/1847788461127823639
That lower section to the left is where the recruits and their escourts sit, and that is where the first people to go onto the field came from

The South goal post went first, the students gave no quarter, though unlike 2 years ago when it went down DURING Tennessee Saturday night, this year it was after
This one they tried to protect it and did for a good 15 min but ultimately failed

Also, unlike 2 years ago they kept pleading to stay off the field, to no effect, maybe delayed the "storming" 30 seconds or so

Another note, 2 years ago the people on the field left how they chose, mostly through the field level NW gate
Last night they were directed to go up the West stands via the stairway between sections U and T

One last note is that Heup went to the student section after his midfield TV interview and went and sat on the wall with the team and smoked a cigar

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.
