They're almost certainly out for the rest of the ACCT, and possibly beyond. If the selection committee takes that into account (yes, I know it's Duke, they'll probably get every benefit of the doubt), then another 1 seed could be on the table, which mean we may suddenly have a lot more to play for this weekend.

Do we need to have a win vs Auburn to get a No 1?  Auburn-Ole Miss is pretty tight right now with ~8min to go

Before yesterday, I would've said we need to win the whole thing to get a 1. But if Duke drops, maybe two wins will do the trick. 🤷‍♂️

You guys are forgetting history.  The committee will not fact in the SECT if we win, there won't be time, and/or they just historically have not weighted conference tourney performance much, if at all.

Having said that, beating Auburn one day before the final selections will move the needle if anything can.

Winning it all won't matter. It never has.

I think this year is different. There are 4 SEC teams fighting for a 1 seed. If two of them are going head to head on Sunday, it will probably matter- especially if UT and/or bammer is involved, because we're probably the two on the outside looking in right now.

To be honest, if we weren't Vol fans would we be thinking the Vols are a one seed. Losing to UK twice is a bad look. But all the teams had losses to some teams they should have beaten. Just win the tourney and a 1 seed could happen.

UK was 5th in the SEC. This year that's pretty good. I know there is a huge gap between 4 and 5, but still
