Jayson Swain HOF

Driving into work today, I heard an interview of Jayson Swain on local sports radio where he got inducted into the Huntsville sports HOF yesterday.  I had forgotten he attended the local HS Grissom HS, which is also where Joey Kent attended.  Joey was present at the HOF ceremony as well.

Swain reiterated some of his comments on the Nico situation.  Basically said, his numbers are pretty good but his head or heart was clearly not into playing for UT (or perhaps anyone), and that negotiating for more pay prior to the playoffs shows how far off his head was from having the right attitude to win.  A true competitor that just loves the game would not do that.

Anyway, congrats to Swain!  Well deserved. I don't always think he has the deepest analysis or greatest insight, but he is a very solid analyst and I enjoy listening to him (unlike a great many of them!).
