It's a good year when there's debate about who should be the third string QB. However, I think I have seen enough.

The positive about Merklinger getting so much playing time yesterday is MacIntyre is now cemented as the defacto backup.

Merklinger is another Nico....can't process quick enough resulting in holding ball too long or throwing to his first read whether he's open or not.

Merklinger is another Nico....can't process quick enough resulting in holding ball too long or throwing to his first read whether he's open or not.     

Its still early.  I haven't seen enough of him to make a final judgement.  But I've seen even less of MacIntyre
