I fell off when we went for OT. 28 secs, tie game, you are at the 40, and you don't go for at least a FG try?

That was a joke for sure.  He was afraid they'd get the ball back and get their own FG, but with that little time left you HAD to call the TO and go for it.  I mean...we have TYLER, JUSTIN, etc.  Ridiculous.

I think he was thinking, why try to set up a FG, we will miss it. It's pretty obvious he has no confidence in the PK or defense, but you have to try. Good Grief.

Exactly.  And while I understand going for it on 4th and 3, I think taking the FG was the right play.  I don't care if Palardy might miss, you never know.  Maybe he hits it and Missouri turns the ball over.

But I do understand why he went for it...

I didn't mind him going for it in OT. Defense wasn't stopping anyone.

I don't disagree with Dooley for going for it on 4th and three. However, if you know you are going to go for it on 4th down then shouldn't you run it on 3rd down? Instead UT threw it twice...

I fell off when Dooley let the clock run out in the first half with two time outs.  I said "we're beat."

Yep. I was preparing to come to the board and make a defense of dooley after we won yesterday. Well that didn't happen. There is no choice after that fiasco. SMDH.

Lot of sentiment after the gator game that the players quit, but a lot of people who didn't  see it that way.   There can be absolutely no doubt that the coach quit with 28 seconds left, only 25 yards from a chance, however slim.  I agree that is the point of no return.

Don't think the players ever quit, to their credit.  No excuse for the end of either half yesterday, but mostly the 2nd half.
