He wasn't meaning it literally. He was just saying that after today there's no doubt that Dooley will be fired. And there isn't, of course. I would be pretty surprised if we don't hear something tomorrow or Monday.

I was one of the last to give him the benefit of the doubt but after today I saw the poorest show or lack there of in coaching that I have ever witnessed in any College football game ..EVER!..The fact that they blew the half time lead ,then the lead at the end of the game..48 secs left with the ball at the UT 40 and 2 time outs and you just let the friggin' clock run out and concede to OT without even trying to chunk it down the field to get into field goal position,maybe a friggin' pass int. call? ANYTHING? I have never seen UT football this bad in my 44 yrs

It's not fair to the players to lose any chance of going to a bowl by keeping a coach who doesn't even try. Dooley could end up at Bama (seeing as how he wins games for them every time he sees them). |
