If Stoops came here, that would certainly spice up that game a bit.

Yes, at Oklahoma in 2014 and home in 2015. Also, at Nebraska 2016 and Nebraska home in 2017.

Let's just hope they stick.  Conference expansion has put the screws to a lot of OOC scheduling.  I know we had a home/home set up with OSU that they backed out of when the B10 expanded.

I waiver back n forth on Stoops. I lived in OK for 3 years and have a cousin there now. Most of my friends there are not that high on Stoops right now, feeling he may burned out or too comfortable. Loads of 5 star & 4 star players with no gold ring in a long time. If we hire a coach he had better be fired up and willing to be a top recruiter, because we don't have a plethora of 4 & 5 star players like Texas & OK.

I think OK makes their living in TX. I would be shocked if OK had that much in state talent just based on what I think OK demographics are.

Really I don't understand why Tennessee doesn't produce more in state talent. Baffling to me.

We produce our share.  What I have heard is that practice times limit development and that Memphis is the greatest concentration of talent, and might as well be another state.

Lack of African Americans, especially compared to our neighbors.  The only historically agricultural part of the state is way out west, so most of the slaves in TN were concentrated in that area, and settled there when they were freed.  Memphis is geographically closer to at least a half-dozen SEC schools than it is to UT.  And culturally, they have much more in common with AR, MS, AL, and LA.
