If so, then Gus will at least keep him in check.  He was doing that "rotating two frosh QB" thing at UK this year also.   I think it goes back to when he was competing, made one bad play and got benched for the duration of his career.   Now he wants to keep the competition going for seasons at a time.  Or that's MO, anyway.

Sanders has always been a pretty solid position coach and a good recruiter. He just wasn't a very good offensive coordinator, or at least not a good offensive coordinator with a head coach who wouldn't let him coordinate and then used him as a scapegoat. 

Good hire for Auburn.

Offense will be great under Mahlzan but the defense will suck(look at Tulsa and Arkansas State)
