DL: played well.  The ends once again were playing more for contain and really did a good job.  Note how many times their QB went back to escape.  Good push by the DTs and good inside out pursuit.  Really shut their running game down.  They had one longish TD run but I think that was a breakdown at the 2nd level.

LB: played well but had breakdowns.  They ran one swing pass twice, nice in the 1st and once in the 3rd where we did not cover at all.  I think it was AJ's issue as both were to his side.  Got better in zone coverage as the game went on.

DBS:  sutton and Williams played well.  TK Jr played well.  Randolph played ok, for him.  McNeil was pretty quiet.  Coleman was Coleman.  Seemed real passive in the zone at times.  We played zone a lot.  Allowed a couple of first downs off of scramble plays.

Kicking game:  pretty much sucked across the board, except for the KO unit.  Only one poorish kick off but the Lane discipline broke done on that kick as well.  The fake punt I think was just a god call bases on how we were playing their backside.  They were going to fake it earlier but we left the defense on the field and forced a penalty.  The onside's kick was just poorly, poorly played.  It seemed the front line was ready just did not execute.

Three or four players had a great shot at the ball on the onsides but all looked tentative.  Need some practice at it, maybe or some bigger balls, lol.

I thought we covered their first few kicks well but then had a few breakdowns. FWIW, they do have one of the better KR's in the country.

their big KO return was by a backup.  Their return guy got hurt on the fumbled punt.
