I have family members who live all over the Nashville area and are ok. One of them lives about 2 miles from the path in the Donelson area.

Pray no one here losses anyone or anything. Kinda puts trivial things into perspective. Prayers for all affected. Did East Tennessee get severe weather?

I can't think of any Putnam folks on here, but am not completely certain.

I'm here. The tornado formed over around Bell's Bend in west Davidson county & cut its swath all the way out to Putnam Co. Passed about 1/2 mile north of me. Just missed the Capital & that corner of downtown. East Nashville took another direct hit. Lots of devastation.

Glad you're ok! That storm cell that hit Nashville and points East formed here in West Tn about 25 miles North of me as a small dot on the radar....The further East it went the more it blew up. I had several family members...Aunts, Uncles and Cousins that lived in East Nashville many moons ago and I spent a lot of time there over the years...They all lived just a short distance from 5 Points. The church they all attended and I did when I was visiting was East End Methodist church....I saw a video of the church this morning and it looked like it had been bombed.

Here in the area where I lived we got hit 5 times in a decade either in or around my town....1998...2001...2003...2007...2008. The one in 2001 went within 4 blocks of me and the one 2008 within a half mile. We were gun shy here every time it clouded up for the longest.

Understandable. Same here. 150 mph sustained winds is a nasty ass hurricane. Tornadoes are quicker, but f'n horrible!
