will end up ranking as one of the best Braves teams? They can beat you a bunch of different ways. Remains to be seen how far they get in the post season.

If they can keep up this pace, this is the best Braves lineup I can remember. I have my doubts that Arcia and Ozuna can keep this up, but as of now there is no hole in this lineup where an opposing pitcher can hide.

The pitching hasn’t been stellar, but it’s been plenty good enough paired with this offense. They’ll need to get Fried healthy and back up to speed (and hopefully Wright too, but that’s looking less likely by the day). And hopefully Soroka can continue to progress. If those things happen, they should be primed for the postseason.

They’re on a record pace right now, but I don’t expect that to continue. I suspect they’ll have the division all but clinched by mid-August, and then start getting the regulars some rest. But it’s all about the postseason. I like the position they’re in right now, but the Braves have burned me too many times in the past for me to take anything for granted.

Given what Philly did last year, who knows how the post season will go.  Should be interesting to see.
