AJ Russell will get a start if he?s able, and they?re still looking for an answer at DH. The nuclear option is inserting Antigua at SS, moving Curley to 3B, and Amick to DH. Don?t know if he?d do that, but it just might work if Amick is okay with it.

Anyway, all that is to say that no one should panic if we go out early in Hoover. That?s not the tourney that matters.

It won't hurt my feelings if they go out early. These conference tournaments sometimes reward only teams that get hot and not the team(s) that performed well over the entire season.

If we win it, fine. I always want to win. But the important action starts afterwards.

It seems that teams doing well in conference tourneys struggle in the big show also, so theres that.
