...but I just heard it yesterday.

Supposedly, he was at some elite QB camp. Between reps, he was chatting it up with one of the other attendees, when he got a text from one Lyle Jones: "We're all in on you. We're not recruiting another QB". Pretty flattering, except the guy he was talking to got the exact same text at the exact same time.

we can laugh about it now

there was another story years ago, that near the end of the Butch era, a recruit was being escorted by a current player who he roomed with.  His escort asked him why he would want to play for Jones. 

Let's just be grateful he is now in bum fizzle Arkansas
