Ole Billy lost his nerve. Disappointed in that 3rd down play, but maybe we can get a quick strike and a FG

I just can?t understand how the guy who was dropping absolute dimes early in the season is now missing receivers this badly. I know the competition level has ramped up, but these guys have been wide open, and Nico is just missing them.

Obviously, I don't get it.

Why not sling it to the end zone? Time would run out. Yea, they could intercept and return it for a TD but I would rather take my chances with that rather than go to overtime.

OMG!

Dear Lord, Thank you.  I was yelling for a missed FG. And you heard my yelling.

Is it possible for a coach to have the 3rd ranked team one week and two weeks later be on the hot seat. Might be a couple of coaches in that position

YES!

I have 150 bottles of wine in my vault and out in racks. And that may not be enough to celebrate a win over the Gators.

Uncork the next one!

We have lived through the Butch Jones debacles so it's fine to celebrate this, or at least be relieved.

Eason's tackle for loss was the play of the game.

Anytime you beat the crocs, it?s a good day.

But we?re not a good team right now.

Gonna be two very tentative squads squaring off next week. I?m glad it?s in Neyland.

Well, if I was mean, I would say, "it's about time he did something other than get holding penalties".

But I'm not mean. So I won't.

100%. Not sure what's gotten into Nico the last 8-10 quarters, but he did look better in the second half. Still not anywhere near where he needs to be, but maybe that momentum carries over to next week.

So you are impressed with their performance? I'm not. No need to sugar cote things. A win is a win. But no excuse for the timid offense. Again.

The point is, when we are agonizing through a tight game against a major rival and then manage to pull out a win, it isn't the appropriate time to ask whether the coach is on the hot seat.

As the saying goes, read the room.

That's a Sunday or Monday question, especially after a win.

And no, he's not on the hot seat.

Enjoy the win.The autopsy can begin tomorrow.
