It has to get to where the players agree to, and sign, a contract and they are locked in for the extent of the contract. The portal needs to happen after the season and only players not under contract may participate. You can't effectively assemble and coach a team in todays environment.

Absolutely received MUCH more attention with doubles and RBs etc.. I watched him, simply due to the fact that he wasn't getting to the QB as much, and I can attest he was working his ass off to get there and in spite of doubles etc. was half a step away very often. Screw that guy!       

I know the foot surgery didn't help, but he was a bust last year. He missed so many shots from within 3 ft of the basket. He had terrible hands, couldn't catch a pass consistently, more often than not the ball would just slip through his hands. If he happened to catch a pass under the basket, instead of going straight up (like Phillips does now, or Okpara) he'd immediately begin dribbling the ball and get it stolen or a jump ball. I was glad to see him go and if Ark had watched film I can't understand why they wanted him...well he could block a shot once in a while but not enough to justify a starting spot.       

Gotta be an ex C-130 pilot. I had a friend that was a load master on a 130 and he told me once that they were doing training landing on runways cut out of strips of wooded areas and when they came in for a landing he was standing in the cockpit door and swore they were going to hit the trees but they touched down and went to the end of the runway and turned around. He said when he looked at the length of the runway and the height of the trees at the end he got scared. He said he told the pilots "there's no way man, just no way" and they laughed and said "here we go". He said they were bouncing down the strip and the trees were getting closer and growing taller and his balls were drawing up into his stomach. He said he began to think the pilot were never going to pull up and just when it seemed it was too late the pilot pulled up and he watched the top of the trees seemingly hit the nose of the aircraft. He said he said a prayer of thanks and then congratulated the pilot. When they landed at base he said he checked the aircraft and found several branches in the landing gear.

Yes, this, as every one that I can recall, board is as biased as hell. There's no way Indiana should have stayed in the conversation when OSU whipped their ass. There's so many teams with horrible SOSs that are being given weight that they haven't earned. We should end up in the top 5 after tonight and hosing a playoff game but probably won't.
