Who becomes more and more annoyed by Wes Rucker with each tweet?  I just can't take the guy.  He's attention hungry, tries WAY too hard to use cool lingo and be funny.

I'm not saying he's not good at what he does.  He is.

Although it is entertaining to see him become defensive and say things like "get a writing job and a radio station if you can do better."

I had to unfollow Wes Rucker yesterday.  I couldn't take it anymore.  First, in the offseason I really don't think he provided any interesting information and if he did it was always on his pay site.  Second, I really could not care less that you don't sleep.  Stop whining about it.  Thirdly, I follow a Tennessee sports writer to hear about Tennessee.  His opinion of the Cubs and their comic awfulness is not why I follow.  Wes Rucker cares about one thing in life:  Wes Rucker.  He is egocentric and everyone knows that he is egocentric.  He was fairly tolerable until he moved from the Times Free Press to 247 and got his radio show.

Apparently, there is another radio show on the same station at 10 or 11 that has devolved (evolved?) into basically nothing more than a Wes Rucker bashfest.  It is apparently hysterical and quite on point.  I suggest everyone unfollow him and maybe that will take his ego down about 7 notches.

My feelings exactly.  I haven't unfollowed him yet, every time I think I've come to that point I think "well I will wait a little longer".  But I'm to the point I can't take it anymore.  Indeed, no one cares if you don't sleep.  Maybe try not waiting until the last minute to do your story.

And then he gets so defensive.  I want to tell him "when you tweet 30 times an hour you are bound to get criticized"  Lordy, it's just too much.

Nope. I stopped following him and defriended him on facebook several months ago. The ego and arrogance became too much. There's a guy whose popularity has gone to his head big time. He's up there on andy staples' level these days.

Being on Andy Staples level....wow, no wonder he has an ego?

But who is Andy Staples?
