HTC Rezound or Motorola Razor?  Those two appear to be top of the line for 4G.

My IT specialist at work recommends the Samsung Galaxy however, and I respect his opinion.

Rezound runs ice cream sandwich OS which is supposed to be very good, but Razor will get that soon according to the salesperson.

One other factor for me...I just went in tonight to replace my Motorola Droid (the very first droid to hit the scene) and this is the second time I have to do that, so I am a bit down on Motorola at the moment.   They supposedly have a good rep though.

Any thoughts?  I know this has been discussed within the last few months, but I can't recall the details and new phones come out all the  time, so.

I am mostly wanting a phone that is lightning fast for browsing and apps.  Everything else is a bonus.

Any thoughts appreciated!

Let me add that I am grandfathered in to unlimited data.

OTOH, I only use ~ 100MB a month and the limit is 2GM, so

But 4G might use more data I suppose.

Razor Maxx.  It's a little thicker than the Razor, but has the best battery life of any smartphone on the market.  Otherwise, their specs are identical.  Or, if you like having a physical keyboard, get the Droid 4.

My work has recently switched from Blackberries to Android/iPhone and it has been great.  My boss has the Razor and five other people I know have the Nexus.  The Nexus is just a remarkable piece of technology.  Everyone I know that has it loves it, but, of course, when you are going from a Blackberry anything seems great.

Out of curiosity, does anyone have any experience with the Samsung Galaxy Note...you know, the "phablet"?

I saw one in the store last night, but that's about it.  (-:

Never used one, but I saw one at Best Buy.  Not sure what you're supposed to do with that thing.  IMO, it's targeted toward women, because it won't fit in most pockets, and they could carry it in a purse.

Nice!  A youngster today (my intern) told me the battery was really good, so it must be.   She usually knows her stuff.

Idk if it's the Razr Maxx.  It wasn't  specified.  Either way, it's gotta be better than this Blackberry.  I noticed yesterday a coworker in manufacturing had one (his personal cell) and I played with his Razr Maxx during a meeting.  Pretty sweet.  He was surprised the company got me one, lol.  Then again, sometimes it pays to be one of the IT guys who's always on-call.. At least you usually get the coolest toys.  :-)
