I do think we will have a better running game, and the defense is going to be more aggressive.

I also pretty much can tell our placekicking game sucks. Palardy looked awful, even had an XP tipped.

George Bulock has a great opportunity.

Well, I'm glad someone got to see it.

ESPN3 blacked it out because it was being shown locally on a channel nobody gets.

It was streamed online on foxsports

It was pretty vanilla, but the defense did do some stuff I haven't seen much in the last few years, they were aggressive and wenrt after the QB from different places. I thought Jordan Williams looked really good at the jack LB. Marlin Lane looked like a SEC back...he's clearly at full speed. Neal is very fast but not really an inside runner. D Young will help us on offense. Without Hunter and Patterson we didn't see much downfield throws, but Bray did hit DaRick on a nice fly. Jacob Carter looked good as a possession receiver. The tight ends looked very good overall.

Kicking game....

I was out of the house today.  Maybe I can catch a replay.

Only got to watch the highlights but didn't see anything especially good about the run game. Lane still looks a step slow to be a all SEC back. I assume it was 1's against the 2's and the score was only 17-14?

Usually (but not always) they'll put the O1's and the D2's on one team, and vice versa for the other.  I assume that's what they did today.

The run game is the one thing that concerns me. We have no excuse to be so bad there. Yeah, that's not exactly an original thought.

I didn't watch the game, but Dooley announced this week that they would go best-on-best this year.

Correct, some gray area, but in general today was ones vs ones, twos vs twos.

yep.................................................Lane got his yards against the #2 defense, Neal, D young ran against the #1 D.........I was not at all impressed with the #1 OL.........................run blocking was not good at all!!!  That is why they ate HOT DOGS yesterday.
