I'm thinking about getting a used bike.  Problem is, I've never owned one (although I did ride my GF's a lot in the Air Force, so it's not like I don't know how to ride).  Is there anything I should look for (or avoid) in a used model?  What's considered "high" mileage for a bike?  This one on Cragislist caught my eye.  Does it look like a good deal?

EDIT- I can't afford a Harley (at least not one that runs), so that's out of the question.

EDIT#2- Hold the Petrino jokes, please.

You would look good on that bike, BDV. I haven't riden since the early '80s; got tired of cars trying to kill me every day. But if you want me to check out the owner or run the VIN, pm me.

I don't even think TRO has an active account on the board anymore but you could ask him on Facebook.
