LG was a recommended brand and this seemed to have a lot of features and good reviews.

I have a 60" LG plasma... it's not that one, but it has been a great TV. I still think Plasma has the truest picture, but it is subject to ghosting (not image burn as it fades but you will see remnants) and they put off a LOT of heat so make sure the room is well cooled.
