Hey, I'm a glass 1/2 full type.
If we have young WRs on the roster with the potential of a Henry or Stephens, I would take that in a heartbeat. Also, I hope this team has the mental fortitude to get up off the deck after bad news like that team did.

Did we know how good Travis Henry was before Jamal went down. I don't remember

He was a highly touted recruit that put up Playstation numbers in high school. On paper I think it was reasonable to expect him, rather than Jamal, to be the best in that RB group (Jamal, Travis, Travis, Dominique Stevenson . . . how sick was it to get that in one class?). But I'm not sure anyone could have expected the UT team not to miss a beat.

He was highly touted but had shown nothing. Stephens was the starter at first and was a 3-star type player. So, no, we didn't know.

Losing Jamal (your best player and most of your offense) in '98

I was in Neyland when Travis Henry put the team on his shoulders and pounded out that winning touchdown against Arkansas. He was not going to be stopped. Unbelievable drive in an unbelievable season. Clint Stoerner is still my favorite Arkansas player of all time. Miracles do happen!

We didn't know they'd be that good. Croom? Howard? Blanc? One can hope they will be good too.

That's my hope. Also, if the run game is better, and it looks like it will be - this becomes less of a loss.
