We came on strong at the end of our last drive running the ball.

They ran on us some, but Mustafa is a pretty good back.  I think we shut them down on the next drive.

I have noticed a tendency of Dooley teams to relax late in the half or after getting a big lead.

We need to focus in this 4th quarter.  This game is long from over.

I felt like Lane ran much better than Neal.  I think we need to see him a bit more.

Neal just wasn't hitting the hole hard and danced and bounced outside too much. That was disappointing. Lane found whatever room was there and made the most of it. I will say, though, that Lane's long run would have been a TD if it were Young or Neal.

Lane definitely earned more carries.

Neal ran hard up the middle for his TD.  But until Dooley ripped into him after a dance outside for negative yardage in the 4th quarter he tended to bounce everything outside.  After getting yanked and dressed down he ran better.

Does Neal outrun the safety who had the angle?  Don't know but the play was setup by Lane hitting the LOS hard, which Neal at the point wasn't doing.

Neal had a lot of success bouncing outside early, it may have biased him that way.

Without the long CP run, we did have about 130 yards, which is decent but unfortunately about like last year's better games and this was against a weak opponent.

I do think the running game is much better, but there is still a ways to go.  As long as they keep working hard at it, we should be much better than last year.

We ain't gonna win EM all, but we will win more than we lose this season.  we actually looked like a descently coached team last night.  Lots of weapons on offense.  McCullers took 2-3 guys down on alot of run plays.  The Defense only looked bad when they quick snapped us............we will have to work hard on that.

McCullers backups were not as good and one was really bad last night.  In passing downs we played 3 DEs, Sentimore was often the NT in those sets.
