Every year the talking heads cram it down our throats, "Cutler is elite!"

And every year we see the truth.

A lot of people were picking Chicago for the Super Bowl... all offseason I was like

One radio guy in Nashville said it was because he got Brandon Marshall. Didn't he have Brandon Marshall in Denver?

Cutler needs to blame his O-line and the receivers. Green Bay defense ran through the blockers and when he had time, the receivers mostly had hands of stone. Understand that I do not think Cutler is great and is far from being elite, but the Chicago offense was offensive. How Lovie Smith has kept his job is a mystery. He and his staff have zero ability to evaluate talent.

Chicago strikes me as one of those places, like New York, where there is hype every year just due to the large population.  It isn't just Cutler, it seems that every year the Chicago QB is hyped.

And this in a place where the average windspeed at the stadium is probably 30-40 mph for many winter games.  LOL!  Chicago is about the least QB-friendly venue in the country.

Every year the talking heads cram it down our throats, "Cutler is elite!"

And every year we see the truth.

QB rating:

2006 88.5
2007 88.1
2008 86.0
2009 76.8
2010 86.3
2011 85.7
2012 58.5 (YTD)

You'll notice that I didn't have to make room for any season with a rating in the 100s.

"Elite" QBs are gold.  Cutler is zinc.
