Teague. And yes, he is really not good enough to play with the big boys.
other than he has been our best cover corner through 3 games. His coverage has been better than either Wagner (beaten several times - not necessarily equates to a pass defended) or Coleman (who had replaced Teague for a couple of series per game until Saturday night).
Saturday night two plays stood out to me by Teague: 1) the play where Randolph was hurt, he and Randolph never communicated effectively pre snap resulting in the receiver being uncovered (there was confusion at the LB level as well - we ended up in an all out blitz, not sure if that was the intended call or not) and 2) a play at the North end (at the 5?) where there was no receiver on Teague's (left) side. At the snap Teague ducked in behind the left LB but saw the RB coming out to his side and moved left to cover him. However, when the QB broke contain in the endzone he left his man and rushed the QB, forcing a quick throw to the RB behind him. The safety came over to make the stop short of a first down. I have no idea if that he was supposed to do or not but the safety rolled over when he headed up to the QB. I think my immediate response when he left his man was WTF?!?
