I've only made it through chapter 2 (of 5) of the first campaign (of 4), but I can already see that I'm not going to like it.  The campaign I've started, according to the reviews, is supposed to be the most suspenseful and scary, and less action packed than the others.  If that's the case, I don't even want to play the others, because I've done nothing but fill monsters with lead so far.  This franchise is no longer one of survival horror (the genre that RE pretty much invented), but is now a full-fledged shooter.  If I want a shooter, I'll get Call of Duty.  If you're looking for a game that will actually scare you, check out Alan Wake.  Because RE certainly won't.

Upon further review, this game is a complete turd and should be killed.  Dare I say, the Battlefield Earth of video games.

My receipt says I'm guaranteed max trade-in value (30 bucks) if I trade before 11/1.  I guess I'll try to power through and finish it before then, and hope that it gets better.  But I don't know how much more I can stomach.
