I think my opinion Re: Gruden is well known.  If all the smoke flashes into fire I will continue to support the University asnd the football team, but I don't hsave to be happy about it.
I would submit it would be a better hire than the previous one and most likely proper vetting will have been conducted, unlike the result of pure panic the last time.

Nobody is saying that he is going to take the job... but there is a lot of reason to believe he is the number one target, and lots of people saying he will at least listen.

You don't believe it will happen and that's perfectly fine. I won't believe it will happen until I see him on the podium, so we are on the same page. But I firmly believe he is the first name on the list and they will make him say no before moving to the 2nd name.
