It may be worse than that.

The good news is getting parking, and getting out after the game should be a breeze.

I will not be there, but that decision was made before the first game, besides hopefully by Saturday I can post during the game without glasses (cataract surgery Wednesday).

85,000-90,000.  It's homecoming, lots of alumni go no matter what.

I am going with 80,000 that won't look like that much due to natural late arrivals for homecoming and early departures.

Announced attendance will probably be 85,000. Turnstile attendance, not quite that.

Wel, in general medium distance is great (long distance will never be good due to a past detached retna issue) and near vision is worse.  The near vision is expected to improve over the next few days as the eye heals.
Vision clarity, sharpness and color satuation is much improved

Thanks for asking!

Cool.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for the near vision to improve soon.

Sideline lowers are going for under $20 on Stubhub. (Saw some uppers for $8 earlier.) That may be an all-time low. If someone wants to go to this game and can't get tickets for $5 on the street, they aren't looking very hard.

Thanks, Dad and I will be buying tickets on the street and I was wondering what they might be going for.  I knew it'd be cheap.

Congrats Pirate! I've heard the post-surgery difference is fantastic (was for Dad).

Do you feel that the cataract was brought on by the detached retna issue? I know the doc said he thought that was the case with my mother. Very glad things went well, and hoping for a speedy & complete recovery.

I'm going because I don't want to miss CDD's possible final victory ever at Neyland......if he hasn't already had it. BTW, congrats on the successful surgery.

I can't prove it but I was told that I would have a higher probability of a cataract due to the retna surgery.  The other eye has, at most, 10% cataract.

Funny story.  So I approached an older fellow who was saying "Who needs tickets?"  I said "I'm looking to spend $10 a piece." and he became irate.  He yelled at me "Go home!  You're not a Vol fan!"  I just looked at him, said "have a nice day" and walked away.  Ended up paying $15 a piece... My Dad likes to get in the stadium when the gates open.

Also, parked at the Coliseum and we passed a homeless guy on the street.  He saw our orange and offered a somber "good luck".  True story.  Lol, ouch.
