I think it was Creek Walker who said something to this affect, but why does Spurrier get a pass whenever he says dumb stuff?  Someone like Kiffin, or any other coach for that matter, gets torn apart when they say something classless.  All anyone says in reference to Spurrier is, "Gotta love ole ball coach".

Stupid.

I've always felt like Spurrier was a classless jerk but that was over the line even for him. I'm glad to see Wetzel call him on it.
