The timeline is immaterial. We know what is going to happen, and there won't be an option to merely can Sunseri. Dooley will be gone.

The good news is Hart has had ample time to prepare. There's little/no debate Gruden was at the top of the list regardless of what spin emerges. I have three questions.
1) Who is on Hart's list after Gruden?
2) Who is on your list after Gruden (not saying he had to be on your list at all)?
3) After Gruden who do you think the five most sure-fire winners would be over the next three years?

All of those are acceptable but I say make Chris Petterson stay awake all night pacing the floor before he says "No.".

This is my list, in order of preference. I'll leave it up to Hart to make it happen.

1.) Nick Saban
2.) Chris Petersen
3.) Chip Kelly
4.) Jon Gruden
5.) Bill Cowher
6.) Brian Kelly
7.) Kevin Sumlin
8.) Charlie Strong
9.) The ghost of General Neyland

I'm hoping we (Auburn) has Patterson on our list. I was pulling for him back in '08, and hope he is at least on the list.

Gus Mahlzan would be good candidate for Auburn

I'm not sold on him for a Head Coach. We are going to need a strong personality to come in and take charge of the whole football organization, and have the balls to keep the good ol boy network, including Pat Dye, at arm's length.  I'm not so sure Mahlzan is the right man for that job.

1) I have no idea who is on Hart's list.

2) Petrino, Patterson, Peterson and Strong are on my list.

3) Petrino, Patterson, Peterson and Strong are the most likely to have success over the next three years.

I was higher on Strong until he got the ever lovin crap beat out of his team by that "Beast of the East", Syracuse. Here would be my list. Some may not say " yes" but Saban didn't say yes the first time.

Gruden
Chip Kelly
Patterson
Jeff Fisher
Peterson
Strong
