Provacative headline to be sure! However, you know "we" don't pay our players.....everybody knows we're broke......we can't even afford to hire a winning coach!

The way the national media types are having a field day with Bray's misspeak shows just how vile and disgusting this sport can be. (I started to say that it shows just how vile and disgusting those media types are, then I reminded myself that we would all be having a field day with it, too, if it were Driskel or McCarron who said that.)

But wouldn't it be the ultimate slap in the face if UT were hammered by the NCAA because a player received improper benefits during the worst stretch in program history?

Nothing to see here. Move along. (I think. And hope)

Players frequently refer to playing football as "doing their job". I'm sure Bray was just speaking in that gist.

He clearly didn't mean it literally, and if he did, he was referring to his schollie.

Either that or he IS a complete idiot.

But I don't think so....

I was reading through a USA Today this morning and on the front of the sports section there is a "quote of the day".  Bray's "paid" comment was today's.

I'd say UT needs to get its money back!

Fortunately, CDD's working to reduce the number of potential forfeited wins.
