UT buddy of mine just called and asked if I was sitting down, and I said yes - he said - "I think its going to be Tommy Tuberville".  Guess we'll see ... interesting ....

He hired Franklin and tried to implement a spread style offense with players that weren't recruited for that style of offense - among other things - he and Lowder & Dye didn't see eye to eye either from what I've been told.  Anyway, took him at his word since he knows more about UT than I do - a new name though, and with SEC connections - would be interesting ...

No impressed.  Counting his last year at Auburn and three at Texas Tech, I believe he is 25-24 over his last four seasons as head coach.  Plus, he looked like an idiot this season when he knocked the headset off an assistant and claimed he was reaching for the guy's shirt to get him off the field.    The sky really isn't falling.  Whoever is hired will get a "wait and see" attitude from me, even if the sky does fall and Gruden is named the coach.  It's all a crapshoot.  Perhaps a calculated one, but....

Agree 100%. A crap shoot.  But I wanna bet on 7 and not 11 if possible.
