Memphis area High School coach's reaction..

Alright! A Memphis area high school coach just called in to a talk show about the Tennessee hire.  He said Cincinnati has done the 2nd best job in this area in recruiting kids from the Memphis area. He said only Nick Saban did better.

The assitant high school coach specifically mentioned Mark Elder as the Memphis recruiter for Cincinnati.  Said he's "well organized, has a plan in place". Doesn't come down to recruit 15 players but targets specific players.  Has checked out the transcripts and knows who he wants. Only lost one recruit he wanted from Memphis last year. Speaks well of his boss.

I can't believe you're so jaded against Memphis. Not everyone in Memphis is on the take. There was this guy in a white coon skin cap that.......well maybe you're right.
