I watched him play several games last year as a FR at Powell and I believe he has great potential.  He has the frame to be a great TE in Jones' offense.  He would create matchup problems no matter where he lines up.  His ankle injury really hurt Powell's chances in the playoffs last year.

It's rare to make an offer and get a commit this far out, but IMO with a local kid with that size and talent, you take the chance. It's good pub and you may be out in front of other major programs by two years.

The kid looked dominant in his video, and that was as a freshman. If he was 14 or 15 there, he may even grow out of the TE/DE position. If not, then he'll have 3 years to adjust to his body and get in better football shape. Either way his future looks bright.

Tremendous God given physical skills.  Still very young and raw and it is a long time until February of 2016.  A lot could happen between now and then. 

That said, I hope Darel gets his act together and realizes what kind of opportunity he has in front of him.
