I'm taking my weimeraner Henry to the vet tomorrow.  He's had 3 seizures since Sunday.  Seizures aren't necessarily serious in dogs, but they CAN be.  Henry is going on 15 years old, and I'm afraid I may have to make a very tough decision.  Any good vibes would be appreciated.

Awww, man! Sorry to hear that! Our next door neighbor's dog started having some bad seizures and it turned out that Layla's flea med was a bit too strong (or being overdosed). Changed of meds had that little booger chasing mototcycles and the UPS man in no time. Hope it is as simple as that!

Just came in from burying him.  Doc confirmed what I suspected- brain tumor.  Goodbye, old friend.

He'll have lots of friends to play with at the Bridge Scott.
We'll light a candle to help him find the way.

Here's to Henry (clink). Before man had a woman, he had a dog.............and guess who was the most loyal? What a good looking dog, so attentive looking at him, I surmise. So sorry for the loss of your old dear friend, Scott.

Sorry to hear that dude.   I lost my namesake .... Bandit ... three years ago at age 15, having had her from a pup.  It tore me up.  Just think of all the good memories he gave you.  I'm sure there were many.

Sorry for your loss BDV and I mean that. Pets are more loyal than children are. All they want is love, they don't hold grudges, and they are always happy to see their best friend!
