I'd like to see the stats on college football attendance this year.

I've been noting the empty seats all season long. I think that's the new reality of college football. And it makes me sad in a way, but in another way college football has done this to itself. It's so expensive for the average fan to attend a game that it was only a matter of time before technology made it more lucrative to stay at home. Personally, I'll always prefer to attend games in person but I know a lot of people who are spending what they would spend on 2 or 3 football Saturdays to buy 50" or larger TVs with no intention of ever going back.

I have said this for years.  When we don't sell out Neyland, people want to crack on UT.  However, it is happening more and more with all teams...including Bama and other powers.  Alot of the SEC visiting teams are giving ticket allotments back too.  Even UGA didn't bring their full band last week, which I can't ever remember that happening.

I still don't understand why our students don't come and full up the student section???
