Cable has been out since the 10:00 mark in the 1st quarter. Same for several of my relatives in other parts of town. I was in the customer service queue but the number magically stopped decreasing . . . I think they're just refusing to talk to people right now.

I think I saw a note earlier that service would be out until 4 p.m.

Comcast is the devil.

Kicked them to the curb several years ago in favor of DishNetwork. 

Dish is far from perfect, but their customer service is light years ahead of Devilcast.

While I prefer Direct, Dish's customer service was surprisingly excellent when I dealt with them.

Not for internet. If it weren't so damn expensive to get their internet without their cable I'd have been inclined to switch to dish/direct a long time ago.
