You can tell that the talent is there, but when the opponent is motivated, they seem to have problems matching their intensity. I suspect they're following their coach's lead in that regard.
It's funny, I don't remember Cuonzo as a player at Purdue, but everyone always talks about what a fiery competitor he was. He must have REALLY mellowed with age.

I've only watched 3-4 games this year, but yeah, he looks like a freaking rock during the game.

I almost think he's a bit too introverted to be a head coach at a major program. I heard his post game comments after Tamu and he sounded really unsure of himself almost like he can't handle the spot light too well.
It's too bad really...I don't think he's a bad guy. But he had better get fired up about coaching UT basketball and find some confidence in a hurry or it's gonna be too late.
