Speaking of Georgia, two years ago I got a ticket in south Georgia for doing 97 on I-75. It was $750. I was actually going 93 and the fine racheted up from $250 to $750 if it was over 95. The little podunk town down in south Georgia said that if I just paid the fine without fighting it (which I actually thought about doing) they would keep it off my record, no defensive driving class required either. I paid the dam thing just to get it over with, but the whole thing was incredibly corrupt.
So yes, I have been in south Georgia.
And BTW, when I was flying down the interstate at 93, I was in the left lane and no cars were in sight. It was early morning and traffic was light. I hope none of you stroke out thinking about that.
The edit is because I read the article and noticed that it's for "slow pokes" in the left lane. Does not apply to me.
