Played around with it some.  So far, I'm impressed.  Really well built, feels solid.  This thing on my wife's Canon Rebel with the lens hood on just makes it look like a pro camera.  I'm glad I spent a bit more and got the 18-250mm, too.  The zoom capability compared to the old 18-55mm lens that this replaced is breath taking.  Auto-focus is even quicker than the old lens, too.
