All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

That's good because I've heard Thompson, Hubbs, and Davis are requesting releases. Jeez.

Yep. No doubt Cuonzo poisoned this whole roster against UT. "Good guy" or not, he can suck a whole bag of big ones.

FWIW, I don't think Hubbs has asked for it yet, but the other two have.

I blame Cuonzo 100% for this mess, and I think any perception that he was a good guy (yes, I fell for it, too) should be erased by now.

But I'm still concerned — greatly concerned, in fact — that Tyndall can't convince any of these guys to stay at/come to Tennessee. He doesn't have to hang on to all of them, but he isn't hanging on to any of them.

Meh . . . for some reason that's not concerning me at all. I just don't think that this is any failure on Tyndall's part and I'm not worried. It'll be a really interesting couple of years when it comes to roster management, though . . . tough for anybody.

Hubbs we need, and need badly.  Thompson is experienced, Davis, I don't even know who he is.

Hopefully the new coach can recruit...we needed that anyway.

As for Cuonzo being to blame for the player's current attitude, I am sure he did not help matters.

But based on statements by McRae and Maymon after the tourney run, I think the players got plenty pissed all on their own, and I don't blame them a bit for it.

A good coach, mentor, and role model has his guys more mentally tough than that, and only a horrible one actually uses that mental weakness to deliberately poison a team against its university and fanbase. Cuonzo is 100% to blame.

This is big-time athletics, and fans are harsh. And you know what? Very few were harsh on the players. Almost nobody, in fact-- it was all directed at the coach, and the implication was always there that these guys would be doing better with a better coach. And then it was Cuonzo himself that redirected it at his own players to motivate them. That was a dick move, and that's a big part of what makes me so angry with him.
