Thankfully, he's not as big as he looked in that last photo the breeder sent me.  I was thinking he might grow to be the biggest lab ever, the way he looked in that pic.

Murphy is just an all-around happy little dude.  Spends most of his time following me around or sleeping.  Typical pup.  And knock on wood, but he seems almost completely housetrained already.  He's only had one accident in the house, and that was when we were playing and he got over-excited.  Here are some pics.  As you can see, I'm not a "stay off the furniture" kind of guy.

Our yellow lab-golden retriever was the sweetest, mildest, loving dog. She always had an accident when over-excited. Like I said, she thought she was a lap dog her whole life. She would always bark (a single sharp bark different from her other barks) when she needed to go outside. She was an outside dog that slept in the basement on a dog bed in a cage. She was dry, safe, and secure there. I still miss her.

Good looking dog!

Now, what are you doing with O magazine on your table? Reading Oprah's football predictions?

Looks like an awesome pup. I'm sure he'll be a great friend.

That's hilarious.  I was going to comment that your housekeeping skills are far superior to mine.

Nice pooch.

The pipc of him laying on the table and couch arm is great...You do know dogs like this can get you in good with the ladies....they just love a soft lilttle puppy to say "hey I am a great guy with a cute dog"
