...putting Finebaum on the air?  He's a nightmare.      I've never heard him before today; had to change the channel.

lol

He pretty much sucks up to bammer fans and so has high ratings in alabammer

ESPN apparently mistook that for talent.

If they just had a studio show with Finebaum as host, conducting interviews and such, it might be tolerable.  But it's his idiot callers that make it unwatchable.  It was funny when it was just a bammer thing, but now that Phyllis and Jim and Al are being broadcast into over 90 million homes everyday, it's an embarrassment to the entire SEC.

He is terrible and the most biased "reporter" I've ever heard.  In fact, except for live games, I think most of the SECN is very amateurish, reporters, programing, and games are rerun 88 times a day.  Other than Vol game, I don't think I've watched  more than 30 min total since it came on the air.

In his defense, he's not a reporter and he has no obligation to be unbiased.

But with that said, I can't stand him either. And I think the fact that the SECN has him on 4 hours a day is a huge mistake. I can't imagine that programming is drawing many viewers outside Alabama.

I like the other three guys on the pregame show (SEC Nation), but I find myself switching to ESPN U Film Room when he comes on.  To me the Film Room show is very interesting because they into the Xs and Os with really good analysis - all without showing any particular team bias.
