...he's now only 5 short of Brett Fah-vray, so he should break the record in the next week or two.

Of course, when he does, Favre will probably come out of retirement again.

Check this out:

@JLundbladESPN: Career TD Passes
Peyton Manning   503
Carolina Panthers  385
Jacksonville Jaguars 368
Baltimore Ravens   365

Also..

Peyton Manning now over 400 yards passing for 13th time in his career, tying Marino for most in @NFL history. http://t.co/AP8f20UYVR

Not too shabby.

If he didn't have such happy feet, he'd probably have over 600 td passes.

That statement helped greatly to put Forest Davis out of business. Those of us in Crimson learned to never again take him seriously.

On a side note, I first saw Peyton Manning pass during the spring of his senior HS year. I was on business in New Orleans, and local TV sports had a segment on him working out with New Orleans Saints wide receivers. This was just months before arriving for his freshmen year at UT. They showed him making that difficult across the field down and out pass to the sideline with EASE. They later interviewed one of the NFL receivers he was working out with, and he was laughing and shaking his head in disbelief while saying he could play in the NFL now! The next morning I called an old Vol friend of mine and told him the story. As we knew as early as his freshman year, that receiver was right.

The number one hated Manning accolade.....he couldn't beat UF.....or Brady owns him. He is a great QB, that is more than his numbers reveal.
