Posting on an opposing board after such a devastating loss is difficult. I have a lot of thoughts about how things transpired but suffice it to say, I think those of you down on your team or staff are premature in your assessment. It was clear to me that you are much better than the team I saw on Owen Field. I believe you have a legit shot at the SEC East. My personal experience in Knoxville was off the charts, regardless of the outcome. The houseboat Vol Navy deal was a blast. Market Square was cool....ate lunch there Sat. The stadium was electric and everyone was extremely hospitable to us....actually coming up to us a number of times and welcoming us to the game. I will be pulling for you all the way. Thanks again for allowing me to post and to take part in the previous game banter.

I agree that we are much better than last year.  But we shoulda won!

I do hope he's right about us winning the East though.

with play calling and offensive design....it appears to me that all of the misdirection etc. with players moving across the formation is just smoke and mirrors, the ball almost always ends up in the same 2-3 places. We didn't exploit the space behind the LBs at all, it seemed the LBs were blitzing tons, or playing right on the line against the run. The D was getting pressure on Dobbs while he was waiting to execute the fake to the WR or RB and I thought if would have ran some straight play action we could have hit the TE with a quick pass down the seem or a shallow slant and got those LBs out of there or moved the ball more consistently. It was apparent to me that OU figured out the offense quickly after giving up the 17 and we didn't threaten after that and made no adjustments that I could tell.

Yeah it was bad.  Dobbs actually stated we did a shizzle job of "adjusting to the adjustments."  I can't disagree.

I just hope this game and last year's Florida game are just growing pangs of a team not used to winning and not the norm.

Yep....Screw up Butch's 'System' and he and we are screwed.

It's nice that a OU fan had these nice things to say......Wonder if it would have been the same if we had BEAT that a$$?
