I don't understand NOT trying a young OL at RT. If he screws up bad enough, yank him!

I don't understand why some of these 5 star recruits are not getting more significant playing time. If the veterans are not that good why not give the youngsters the experience. A good line coach could get a lot from a talented, athletic freshman. He should be able to teach these guys proper technique. Maybe we are lacking some good assistants. Maybe a few of the recruits aren't going to live up their hype either. Puzzling.

I actually agree to a lot of stuff you post. I just get over-critical when it comes to our Vols. It started the year after we won the NC. 1999 we were still loaded to the point where we should have been in the NC hunt. We haven't been quite the same since. I've become a cynical fan. But I haven't said nothing that most posters here haven't said. I just get bitched at more for it. Or it seems to me.
