Overall the team was prepared and went toe to toe with bama, out rushed them and had around ten tackles for loss.  We adapted and changed with the flow of the game.

We lost but have no doubt the team (and staff) left everything they had on the field today.  The effort left this observer with the belief that we are on track and good times are ahead.  We have to go to Lexington next week but if the team has a similar effort we drive back to Knoxvegas a winner.

If we don't come back from Lexington a winner we aren't as close to being back as we think. Miss. State has dog whipped them tonight.

Great effort..
With all the injuries and plugging holes, this team fought hard and had a chance to win in the end at Bama and that's all you can ask for with this young team..
We just scored and took the lead a lil too soon and they had just enough time to respond with a drive that had two great catches that moved the chains for them.
Coker put it on the money twice where he had to and the receivers made great plays.

This team is making progress. They lost to Bama by 14 at home last year and by 5 today at Bama..
Lack of depth and experience are things that can be fixed with another great recruiting class and another year older come next year but I think this team has a good shot at winning out and finishing strong.

Bama may have won today but the Vols kept it close and gave them a run for their money and they know it.
That's something that hasn't happened in a long time.
UT has been in every game this year with a chance to win and that's something you can't say about a UT team since Fulmer left..Go Vols!

Agree.  We dog whipped them last year, for that matter. I'd love to see that again.  They could not stop our offense that year, and while their D is no doubt better, so is our offense.  Looking forward to it.
