The Outback Bowl web site says Northwestern vs. SEC Team, but I keep hearing it's the Vols.

sb nation and tennessean have both posted Ut to outback although it still does not appear on the outback site.

Good opportunity. Northwestern beat Stanford, Duke and Wisconsin this season, but lost to Michigan and Iowa by combined scores of 78-10 in back-to-back weeks.

Still, they're ranked No. 12, so giving them a thrashing in a NYD bowl game would give the media plenty to talk about in the offseason.
