Happy New Year Gators!

I can understand them not scoring much...their offense when they lost their QB was Mizzou bad....

I just can't believe their defense gave up that many points. Their defense must have tanked it knowing the O couldn't score.

I loved that thrashing. Not only is it good to see Florida take a beating, but a strong Michigan is a threat to Ohio State, so it was a win/win.

My neighbor and I argued all during the second half of our game about whether it would be best if Florida won or Michigan won. I don't buy into the SEC loyalty. I enjoy heckling fans of other conferences (the only good thing about Alabama's dominance last night is being able to laugh at the Big Ten fans) but the only SEC team I'm rooting for other than UT this bowl season is Georgia vs. Penn State tomorrow. And only then because I despise James Franklin.

late in the 4th they announced the score (21-7 I think) and a large cheer went up from the VOL section

My thoughts exactly.

In the particular case of Florida, what McIllwain accomplished is pretty amazing, no matter what, but by now everyone (including Tebow in the pregame yesterday) realizes that some of it was smoke and mirrors and just plain old fashioned luck, and that going forward they have more questions than answers for the coming year.  This ass-beating just emphasizes that point.

I am looking forward to our game in Neyland more than any since at least 2002, and maybe even 1998

I've had  a strange mix of chuckles, eye rolls and WTF moments reading the BS on the VS. Seems that more than a few think that the Gators were robbed because Grier got caught using PEDs and that the season would have been much better had they not been so unlucky.

News flash dipshizzles, had Grier NOT used PEDs or had he been caught earlier, the Gators wouldn't have won the first six games straight, The Gators wouldn't have made as far as they did, they probably wouldn't have made it to the SECCG. What a bunch of delusional cry babies

Gator players and fans are NEVER humble. Arrogant, Conceited, Full of it maybe. But humble is NOT a word to be used for the Gators. Not even used as humbled.
