I suspected they would lay an egg today. Iowa was the benefactor of an extremely beneficial schedule this year.

The only #5 I see is wearing white and red.  Haven't seen much of Stanford this year, but damn, that kid's good.

And the team we just boatraced beat these guys, btw.

you got it wrong, according to NW fans, we did not have a speed advantage.  Notwithstanding Kamara and Dobbs out running their defense and our defense racing past their OL, etc, etc, etc ....

Saw some posts on the NW board that they had as much speed as we did.......Really?

Yes.....No. 5 is the all around best player in the country, IMO and should have won the Heisman. Henry is good but a lot of backs would be good running behind that Bama OL. IMO he's no better than Hurd. Henry is better in that he runs lower and behind his pads better than Hurd.

Iowa from now on needs to be invited to play in one of those December 21st bowls against a MAC team.

Remember, Northwestern is the same team who had a fan tweeting about how disgraceful it was that the cats drew UT as their bowl matchup. In fact, I believe his exact words were that it was a "slap in the face" that No. 12 Northwestern had to play lil' ol' 8-4 Tennessee. Vols fans have been having some fun with that one this evening.

Was that you that coined that phrase on their board? I thought that was very funny in a harmless football fan sort of way but they didn't seem to have a sense of humor.
