Same here: Butch: John you do know we had OU beat and your defense couldn't stop Mayfield from beating our a$$...right? Jancek: Yep Butch: John you do know we had Florida beat for the first time in a decade and you couldn't get us a damn stop and on 4th and 14 you rushed 3 and let them complete and score a 65 yard winning TD....right? And I won't even bring up the 2014 Florida cluster. Jancek: Yep Butch: John, you do understand we had a 17 point lead at home against Ark and then their offense starting going through your defense like Grant going through Richmond.....right? Jancek: Yep Butch: Bye |

I wasn't thrilled with Jancek this year, but I thought he did well enough to keep his job- unless they already have someone better lined up, that is. And I do think Shoop would be an upgrade. |

That chicken -shizzle conservative play calling didn't have no effect on my defense staying on the field most of the 4th qtr of those games. And you really had the team fired up and hitting on all cylinders against North Texas. How did my defense look against Bama and NW?.... I thought so. Who will be your scapegoat next year? I am by no means a fan of Jancek. But I just gave him a good and applicable retort for Butch. I'm sure this will be a gang up on Jancek thread. I think my points are valid though. I was impressed by the overall rating of our D at the end of the season....16th in scoring D is not just good, but dam good. Having said that, we were middle of the pack until we got into the soft part of the schedule, and vandy, mizzou and NW literally have some of the worst offenses in the country, not to mention N Texas. And vandy kind of had their way with us for the first half. I agree that who the replacement is had better be good. I hope it's not a 3-4, not a fan of that going back to 2012  |
